What is the EcoCart refund policy?

Donations made to EcoCart are non refundable. If a customer returns an item, there are still manufacturing and shipping emissions produced by their order which is what we are aiming to offset. In the event that a customer reaches out to a merchant to request a refund of the EcoCart donation, the merchant must reach out to the EcoCart support team with documentation of the customer's request. EcoCart will refund the offset cost and cover the transaction. 


Please note that all refunds must be completed via wire transfer. We will request the following pieces of information to complete the transaction: 


  • The recipient’s full name and contact information
  • The recipient’s bank account information and transit number
  • The recipient’s ABA routing number
