Taxes are calculated automatically within the Shopify system. Linked here is a resource from the Shopify help center that provides multiple examples regarding tax exemption. Always check with a local tax authority to make sure that you are charging your customers the correct tax rates.
Manually excluding each EcoCart Variant From Tax
- From your Shopify admin, go to Products > Carbon Neutral Order
- Scroll down to Variants > Click box on top row to select all > Open bulk editor
- Once on bulk editor page, click Columns > under Pricing - confirm Charges Taxes is unchecked
- Save changes
